- Don't use the hard and thin soled shoes, go for soft soles.
 - Don't wear open backed shoes.
 - Use a heel cup when wearing shoes.
 
5) Use a pumice stone to remove the flaky skin.
6) Diet
- Eat vitamin E rich food.
 - Include necessary minerals in the diet like calcium, iron and zinc.
